The Evergreen Red Barn Facilities Manager is the first one at the venue and the last one out. They prepare the venue for your event by setting up chairs at the ceremony site and tables and chairs inside the Barn, according to the client’s request. They work alongside the caterer to ensure that the event flows as smoothly as possible. A facilities manager is not a wedding planner.

Yes, you may. We strive to let you have your wedding, your way. We allow everything from delivered pizza to a do-it-yourself potluck to a fully catered event.

Yes, we do. Wedding liability insurance coverage is required to host a wedding at the Evergreen Red Barn. This insurance protects you if you are held liable for property damage or bodily injury.

An insurance policy must be presented at the walk-through six weeks prior to your wedding.

We require that a licensed and insured bartender be hired to serve alcohol. Many full service caterers have insurance and licensed bartenders on staff. If the caterer does not offer bartending service, you must select one from our pre-approved vendors list. Beer, wine, and champaign may be served. No shots may be served. All mixed drinks are subject to approval. 

Please note: The bar must close 30 minutes prior to the end of the event or 90 minutes prior to the end of the booking period.

We allow one hour for rehearsals. Decorating will not be allowed during this time due to liability concerns. (We do not want your items broken or stolen! We have cleaning crews, outside contractors, and tours for future events in the building regularly.)

The Evergreen Red Barn staff will unlock the building if the ceremony is taking place indoors. Otherwise, the outdoor ceremony site will be available for rehearsing. Please email or call our office to ensure to set the time for your rehearsal so we can ensure that there is not another wedding scheduled. 

Yes! Our $150 sound system package includes speakers and microphones for the ceremony at the Mountainside Arbor and a 150-watt PA system for dancing at the Barn after the ceremony.

The booking times of 8 or 10 hours include set up. We do not allow decorating a day early. Early arrivals, drop-offs, or pre-decorating are not allowed. The bartending shed may be used to store decorations in advance, depending on availability.

Decorations and all equipment must be completely out of the facility by the end of the rental time block. Nothing may be left inside the facility overnight.
